By participating in a Camera Club outing, you agree to the following:
- Conditions:
- Outdoor outings are unabashedly subject to the weather, and are likely to be canceled, rescheduled, or changed if weather or photography conditions appear inclement.
- Call Ahead:
- Call or e-mail the trip leader to sign on. This is so we know who is coming, in case of cancellation or a change in plans. If no-one calls, the leaders will consider themselves free to do something else that day!
- Responsibilities:
- The trip leader arranges and organizes the trip. He/she is not responsible for:
- Your behavior ...
- The behavior of your guests or children ...
- Your enjoyment of the trip ... or
- The quality of your pictures!
- Liability:
- You assume any risk of injury or mishap.
- Costs:
- There are no fees for OHCC trips. However, it's up to you to cover your expenses:
- Entrance fees to destinations ...
- Your meals on the road ...
Remember, we make some of this stuff up as we go along, so think ahead, and don't be afraid to let the leader know if your budget is limited! Also, while it's not required, the driver would always appreciate some help with gas money!
"We stop for photo ops!" This might be most important of all. Trips are not destination-oriented. We take our time, stop to smell the roses, and to photograph them, and if we don't cover as much ground as planned - oh darn, we'll have to go back!
